Taxi driver medical in Leeds

Which doctor Leeds will accept, how often you have to repeat it and which form they want. Councils disagree with each other on every one of those, so this is Leeds’s answer and nobody else’s.

Who can carry it out

Your own GP, or a doctor with your records

Your own practice is the straightforward route, but another doctor can do it if they have had full access to your medical history. Private clinics that request your records can qualify. One that examines you without them cannot.

What Leeds requires

Completed and signed by a GP with full access to your NHS medical records, and dated within the last four months.
If your own GP does not do private medical assessments, another GP may be used — but they must have access to your full NHS records at the time of the examination.
From 45 it is required every five years until 65, then annually.
