Taxi driver medical in North Norfolk

The most relaxed category there is. Any doctor on the GMC register can sign it, so a private medical centre is generally faster and cheaper than waiting for a GP appointment.

“Group 2 licences must be provided every 5 years or at age 45, whichever is the earlier, until the age of 65 when they are renewed annually without an upper age limit”
How often: Initial application, then every 5 years or at age 45 whichever is earlier, until age 65, when annually with no upper age limit. Council may require a full medical at any time, and may specify a shorter timeframe for an under-65 driver with a controlled medical condition
Form: DVLA D4 medical examination report PLUS the council's own 'NNDC Driver Medical Form Group 2' certificate of fitness to drive. The handbook is explicit that a Group 2 medical will only be accepted with the accompanying NNDC certificate. A separate self-certification form (TDLITD29) covers changes since the last medical
