Taxi driver medical in Epping Forest

You are not tied to your own surgery, which usually means a shorter wait and a lower fee. The condition is the records: the doctor must have seen your full history, not just examined you on the day.

What Epping Forest requires

“Following the initial medical report at application stage, Hackney Carriage drivers are required to undergo a medical examination at the ages of 50, 55, 60, 65 and annually thereafter”
How often: DIFFERENT DEPENDING ON WHICH LICENCE YOU HOLD. Hackney carriage drivers: at application, then at 50, 55, 60, 65 and every year after. Private hire drivers: at application, then at 45 and on each renewal until 65, then every year. The council can also require one at any other time
Form: The council's own recommended medical report form, sent out in the application pack - you have to email the licensing team to be posted one, nothing is downloadable
Possible exemption: YES - if you have held a DVLA Group 2 full or provisional licence since after 1 January 1998 you do not have to complete a Medical Declaration, because you will already have passed a Group 2 medical for that entitlement
