What it is

It gives published taxi and private hire licence fees and driver medical rules for 318 UK licensing areas. Every figure was read by hand from the council's own pages, and each answer links back to that page.

What it is not

It is not legal advice and it is not medical advice. Councils change their rules and fees, sometimes without notice, so always confirm with your licensing authority before you book anything or pay. Where a council does not publish something, the plugin says so rather than guessing. Scotland follows different licensing law to England and Wales.

No guarantee

The information is checked with care, but it is provided as it is, with no guarantee that it is complete or up to date. TaxiTools is not responsible for decisions made on it. If something looks wrong, please say, and it will be checked against the council and fixed.

Fair use

Please use it as intended. Do not try to overload it or use it to copy the whole dataset. If you want the data for an organisation, see data for organisations.
