Taxi driver medical in Orkney Islands

What Orkney Islands requires

• “If an applicant declares on their application form that they suffer from any physical or mental condition likely to affect their fitness as a driver or which might do so in the future, they must provide at their expense, satisfactory evidence from appropriate medical authorities as to their physical and mental fitness to carry out the dut”
• How often: There is no routine medical. It is a self-declaration on the application form: only if you declare a physical or mental condition likely to affect your fitness to drive - now or in future - must you provide medical evidence
• Form: No council medical form. If you declare a condition you provide satisfactory evidence from appropriate medical authorities
