Taxi driver medical in Mansfield

Which doctor Mansfield will accept, how often you have to repeat it and which form they want. Councils disagree with each other on every one of those, so this is Mansfield’s answer and nobody else’s.

What Mansfield requires

• “The applicant will be responsible for arranging, attending and funding the medical appointment, as well as providing a copy of the medical certificate to the Licensing Authority”
• How often: On first application, then every five years from the age of 45, and every year from 65
• Possible exemption: YES - if you can produce a current Group 2 medical examination less than 3 months old, plus written confirmation from a medical practitioner that nothing has changed since, you do not have to undergo another one when you apply
