Taxi driver medical in Leicester

Only the practice you are registered with can complete this one. You cannot shop around for a cheaper medical, and if your practice is slow to offer appointments that is the timetable you are stuck with, so book early.

“Any driver renewing a licence is subject to a further medical on attaining the age of 45, 50, 55, 60, and 65, then annually if they continue to hold a licence”

Their own sources disagree on this. Search index also surfaced a second, older-looking frequency wording from council documents - 'upon attaining the age of 56, and at intervals of 3 years thereafter until the age of 65 (that is attaining the ages of 56, 59, 62 and 65)'. The two council sources disagree; the 45/50/ Ring them before you book anything.
