Taxi driver medical in Hull

Which doctor Hull will accept, how often you have to repeat it and which form they want. Councils disagree with each other on every one of those, so this is Hull’s answer and nobody else’s.

What Hull requires

• “A medical examination report must be submitted to the Licensing Section no more than 28 days from date of signature. Any report that is submitted after this period will be considered invalid”
• How long it lasts: 28 days from date of signature - a report submitted after that period is invalid
• How often: before the first licence is granted, then every 5 years until 65; annually from 65. No 45/50/55/60 ladder
• Form: council's own (14-page Medical Examination Report, to the DVLA LGV/PCV Group 2 standard)
• Possible exemption: PCV/HGV accepted - holders of current PCV and/or HGV licences who can provide proof of a current Group 2 medical examination will not be required to undergo a further examination
