Clarissa: privacy and terms
Clarissa is a private personal assistant. It is used by one person, its owner, and nobody else can sign in to it.
Privacy
When the owner connects his own Google or Microsoft account, Clarissa uses it only to answer his own questions. That means reading his email, calendar and files, and making drafts or calendar entries he asks for. Nothing is sent without him tapping Confirm first.
Clarissa does not sell, share or pass on any of this data. It is not used for advertising or to train AI models. Sign-in tokens are kept on the owner's own laptop and his own private server, which only his devices can reach.
Some text is sent to OpenAI so Clarissa can write her answers. That happens under OpenAI's API terms, which say API data is not used for training.
The owner can remove Clarissa's access at any time from his Google or Microsoft account settings.
Clarissa's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Terms
Clarissa is a personal tool, not a public service. It is not offered to anyone else, and it comes with no guarantees.
